Family Therapy Techniques: Integrating and Tailoring Treatment - Original PDF
Family Therapy Techniques: Integrating and Tailoring Treatment - Original PDF
نویسندگان: Jon Carlson خلاصه: Family Therapy Techniques briefly reviews the basic theories of marriage and family therapy. It then goes into treatment models designed to facilitate the tailoring of therapy to specific populations and the integration of techniques from what often seems like disparate theories. Based on the assumption that no single approach is the definitive approach for every situation, the book leads students through multiple perspectives. In teaching students to integrate and tailor techniques, this book asks them to take functional methods and approaches from a variety of theoretical approaches, without attempting to reiterate the theoretical issues and research covered in theories courses.
Family Therapy Beyond Postmodernism: Practice Challenges Theory - Original PDF
Family Therapy Beyond Postmodernism: Practice Challenges Theory - Original PDF
نویسندگان: Carmel Flaskas خلاصه: Postmodernist ideas are widely used in family therapy. However, it is argued that these ideas have their limits in meeting the richness and complexity of human experience and therapy practice. Family Therapy Beyond Postmodernism examines postmodernism and its expressions in family therapy, raising questions about:* reality and realness* the subjective process of truth* the experience of self.Alongside identifying the difficulties in any sole reliance on narrative and constructionist ideas, this book advocates the value of selected psychoanalytic ideas for family therapy practice, in particular:* attachment and the unconscious* transference, projective identification and understandings of time* psychoanalytic ideas about thinking and containment in the therapeutic relationship.Family Therapy Beyond Postmodernism offers a sustained critical discussion of the possibilities and limits of contemporary family therapy knowledge, and develops a place for psychoanalytic ideas in systemic thinking and practice. It will be of great interest to family therapists, psychotherapists and other mental health professionals.

Hope and Despair in Narrative and Family Therapy - Original PDF
Hope and Despair in Narrative and Family Therapy - Original PDF
نویسندگان: C; McC Flaskas خلاصه: This book is about hope and despair and the way in which as family thera- pists we meet and engage with this territory of human experience. For many families, the experience of hope and despair is complex. It can reflect a constellation of individual and family histories, current patterns and dynam- ics, the stresses of everyday life, the severity and chronicity of the family’s struggle, and their exposure to abuse, adversity, tragedy and social injustice. Beyond these immediate and personal constellations lie the overarching cultural and social contexts that create the social conditions of individuals’ and families’ relationships to hope and despair. Not surprisingly, engagement with clients’ experiences has a parallel in therapists’ own experience of hope and hopelessness. Psychotherapy itself stands as an activity of hope, for the collaborative project of client/s and therapist is always about the possibility of change. However, at the same time, as therapists we often find ourselves challenged by hopelessness and struggling with hope. We will also note that despite the frame of hope that psychotherapy offers, therapeutic practices also have the capacity to contri- bute to clients’ experience of hopelessness and, in some situations, clients’ despair is unmediated within the limits of what we have to offer.
Clinical Manual of Couples and Family Therapy - Original PDF
Clinical Manual of Couples and Family Therapy - Original PDF
نویسندگان: Gabor I. Keitner, Alison M. Heru, Ira D. Glick خلاصه: This book is addressed primarily to physicians, and particularly to psychia- trists. Primary care physicians, pediatricians, gerontologists, and allied mental health professionals will likely also find it useful. One of our goals, however, is to reestablish the role of the psychiatrist as the leader of the team of profes- sionals providing mental health care to patients in need. The psychiatrist is able to function in this leadership role if he or she is skillful in generating a biopsychosocial formulation of presenting problems and in providing biopsychosocial treatments including pharmacotherapy, psychotherapy, and family interventions. Where such ability or interest in developing broadly based clinical expertise is lacking, psychiatrists are being relegated to supportive roles, most often as providers of psychopharmacolog- ical management.

نویسندگان: Scott Ventureyra PhD, Enrique C. G. Ventureyra, Phil Fernandes, Valérie A. G. Ventureyra, Martina J. Speck, Travis Louisseize, Scott D. G. Ventureyra خلاصه: Since March of 2020, the world has been brought to its knees by unscientific and unethical mandates. These mandates have destroyed the world economy and the lives of countless innocent individuals. The “cure” that has been offered by medical bureaucrats and politicians has been more deadly than the disease (COVID-19). The imposition of ludicrous lockdowns, mask wearing, coerced vaccination, and vaccine passports have not only proved to be ineffective, but also much more harmful than SARS-CoV-2 and all its variants. COVID-19 has a recovery rate of close to 99% for most of the world’s population, however, despite this, institutions and power-hungry individuals have trampled upon our civil liberties and ignored our inalienable human rights. It is precisely as Thomas Paine famously stated: “The greatest tyrannies are always perpetrated in the name of the noblest causes.” Many lives have been gratuitously lost because of the administration of deadly medical treatments, and the rejection of effective treatments that follow genuine science. In the process, informed consent has been disparaged and desecrated. For over two years, we were instructed to “trust the science,” but the “science” advocated by medical bureaucrats and greedy politicians was the reason why the world was turned upside-down. In the face of these crimes against humanity, justice will only be brought by real courts and real judges, but this will require the awakening of a critical mass. This book serves as an instrument for this awakening. I knew this book was essential just by reading the chapter descriptions. Dr. Ventureyra has curated and compiled the most critical information of this era and presented it in a language that anyone can comprehend. In an age plagued with misinformation and disinformation, this book is medicine for the masses! —Mikki Willis, creator of the Plandemic documentary series, plandemicseries.com It takes courage to read COVID-19: A Dystopian Delusion. What the authors reveal in disturbing detail is disheartening. And yet, we must open our eyes and confront what is before us. This book serves as a historical witness to what is transpiring right now. Ventureyra and fellow authors reveal the many nefarious ways in which governments, corporations and agencies are undermining our sovereignty and dignity. What is occurring is more than a vaccine issue, but rather the complete submission of humanity. Our response will determine whether we comply or rise up and claim our authority. —Ted Kuntz, President, Vaccine Choice Canada This book is critically important and is filled with valuable information that every American and every human being must know. I can’t recommend it highly enough. —Alex Newman, award-winning international journalist; author of The Deep State: Pulling Strings From Behind the Scenes History will judge the “COVID era” as a grand fiasco. Here is a book that lays bare the inner workings of this debacle, which everyone should make a point of reading. —Nirmal Dass, publisher, The Postil Magazine It’s high time people realize just how relentless the government and the powers to be were in shoving the COVID-19 narrative down our throats. This book will help readers to think!
