We knew we wanted to take the language of business and translate it into plain English. He would choose the words, write the definitions, and take the role of busi- ness guru, ensuring the information was accurate. I would write the sen- tences, handle the technical part of writing a book, and take the role of target audience, ensuring the information was understandable. And we would have the next book in the excellent Words You Should Know series. To a certain extent, that is what happened. Over and over throughout the last year, Dean would present me with a definition, and I would say “But what does it mean?” until he had simplified it enough that even I could understand it. So it was straightforward. Dean has indeed chosen words and written definitions. I have written sentences. And you are reading this book. But something else happened as well. Once we started writing it, we came to realize it had far more potential than we originally recognized, and that was really exciting. Yes, this book can be used in a very straightforward manner: When you hear a business word you don’t understand, look it up and close the book. Easy. But it can be much more than that as well, depending on your needs. Perhaps you need to know more about a concept than simply its defi- nition and usage. An Internet search on “management style,” for instance, turns up more than 200 thousand results! This book offers related words for each term. Combine a few of them in your search, and suddenly you are closer to finding the information you actually need. Also, throughout the book, you will find boxes with further explana- tions of many of the defined words. While the definitions for these words are easy to understand, the concepts sometimes are not. The information found within the boxes will help clarify the concepts and how they apply to the business world.

The author makes the book about how great he is at reading body language. He than only gives little insights as of how to do it. He is purely arrogant and seems to talk about himself for the majority of the book. He gloats about his military past, his boots, his own personality and even his political views. The book comes off as if body language is just too difficult for anyone to learn and he just WON'T tell you how to do it. So he decides to fulfills the emptiness of the book with talk about himself. Even the title says narcissism. After reading this book I felt incomplete. I felt I didn't hardly learn anything about body language. So I read another book. I read What Every BODY is Saying: An Ex-FBI Agent's Guide to Speed-Reading People. A well organized comprehensive guide to learning body language. It gives you detailed information on how to read body language along with interesting stories on how he the author, Joe Navarro, has used the specific tell in his life. Through Joe Navarro you will learn a skill set, not just some bits of information. Do yourself a favor and DON'T read "I can read you like a book". It will just waste your time.

Eye movement patterns can reveal detailed infor- mation about the user’s cognitive processes, their attention level, or decision- making processes [3,12]. Applications and research based on ET require reliable and robust data [9]. Traditionally, this requires dedicated hardware with high- resolution cameras and infrared illumination to detect corneal reflections [7]. However, dedicated hardware is expensive and thus limits the pervasive use in real-world applications. This situation may change since, propelled by recent advances in deep learning, appearance-based gaze estimation methods that deliver promising results based on low-cost consumer-grade camera inputs start to emerge [2,10,11,21]. These approaches learn to estimate gazes from a video stream based on large-scale data sets and provide 3D gaze vectors or correspond- ing 2D gaze locations on a screen. Furthermore, they do not require any specific external devices and can be used with standalone computers, laptop built-in webcams, or mobile device consumer-grade cameras. This opens up the possi- bility of developing affordable automated intelligent ET solutions for research, commerce, and the general public. On the way to realize this ambition, webcam ET (wcET) has to address several challenges including gaze estimation accu- racy, gaze estimator prediction time, and that gaze estimation quality can be affected by user movements [11]. This paper aims to contribute to the first step toward utilizing wcET as a low-cost pervasive technology by validating the data quality of a state-of-the-art wcET approach in comparison to the performance of an established, commercially available dedicated eye tracking (dhET) system. Accordingly, we address the following research question in our work: How does the gaze estimates of wcET differ from dhET in practical settings regarding accu- racy, precision, and sampling rate? We will further discuss how the limitations of the data quality may affect the performance of wcET applications
