The main focus of this book is the coatings generated with polymer nanocomposite materials. Polymer nanocomposites have been developed continuously for the last two decades. These advancements have led to their applications in many fields like automotive, packaging, etc. Coatings are one such product that are common to many application fields. They are used to enhance the functionality of the substrate in order to gain certain performance parameters. For example, in the case of packaging, these coatings provide a gas barrier to the substrate foil or laminate. On the other hand, in the case of automobiles, they are used to provide properties like antiscratch, anticorrosion, etc.

تمرکز اصلی این کتاب، پوشش‌های تولید شده با مواد پلیمری نانو کامپوزیت است. نانوکامپوزیت های پلیمری در دو دهه اخیر به طور مداوم توسعه یافته اند. این پیشرفت ها منجر به کاربرد آنها در بسیاری از زمینه ها مانند خودرو، بسته بندی و غیره شده است. پوشش ها یکی از این محصولات هستند که در بسیاری از زمینه های کاربردی مشترک هستند. آنها برای افزایش عملکرد زیرلایه به منظور به دست آوردن پارامترهای عملکرد خاصی استفاده می شوند. به عنوان مثال، در مورد بسته بندی، این پوشش ها یک مانع گاز برای فویل یا لمینت بستر ایجاد می کنند. از سوی دیگر، در مورد خودروها، از آنها برای ایجاد خواصی مانند ضد خش، ضد خوردگی و غیره استفاده می شود.
