This collection of humorous and un-jingoistic war poetry covers both world wars and most major campaigns. Many of the poems have never been in print before, and they offer a unique insight and a different approach leading up to the 1914 centenary. Illustrated with drawings and watercolors from unpublished war artists, each poem is accompanied by a brief background on the author and campaign.
