بررسی جامع استانداردها و دستورالعمل‌های بین‌المللی و ملی، این کتابچه شامل 32 فصل است که در 9 بخش تقسیم شده است که تلاش‌های استانداردسازی، آنتروپومتری و وضعیت‌های کاری، طراحی مواد دستی، تعامل انسان و رایانه، ایمنی و بهداشت شغلی، حفاظت قانونی را پوشش می‌دهد. استانداردهای عامل انسانی نظامی و منابع فاکتورهای انسانی و استانداردهای ارگونومی. این کتاب نقش استانداردها و دستورالعمل‌ها را در تسهیل طراحی و شرایط کار بهینه در رابطه با ایمنی و سلامت شغلی و همچنین عملکرد سیستم در زمینه پیشرفت‌های تکنولوژیکی و فرصت‌های توسعه اقتصادی در سراسر جهان نشان می‌دهد.
