This book was fun to read. Written in an upbeat fashion primarily for young people contemplating working in the movie industry in production-related jobs, the book describes these jobs in a direct and breezy way, taking care to define the terms I noted in the title of this review (and many others). So the book also can be interesting to anyone who has a general interest in movies, movie making, and the movie business. I was especially impressed about the job descriptions in the "special effects" area because the techniques themselves are also described, adding to my knowledge of them.
