That often means making waves and causing some discomfort among man agerial types. In our view, it's management that causes trouble in the workplace and employers who cause trou ble in society, when they speed us up, treat us disrespect fully, and squeeze us for every last drop of profit. So this book is an organizing manual for workers who want justice from their employers and control over their lives at work and beyond. Our Method Instead of presenting a book full of checklists-"this is how you do it"-we're letting the experts tell their own stories: "This is how we did it. See what you can learn from our story." We've found that people generally remember a story about "how we locked out the boss" better than a checklist on "how to lock out the boss."
