بر چهار موضوع کلیدی ساختار یافته است: - برنامه درسی - دیدگاه بین المللی - آموزش، یادگیری و ارزیابی - منابع، پیشرفت و کیفیت بررسی جهانی آن از آموزش گردشگری مبنایی جامع برای بررسی مقایسه ای ارائه می دهد. علاوه بر تنظیم توسعه و ارائه فعلی آموزش گردشگری، به موضوعات پیشرفته مانند آموزش دکتری، آموزش غیر رسمی، مسائل فرهنگی در یادگیری، تحقیق و تدریس، یادگیری الکترونیکی و ارزیابی الکترونیکی نیز می پردازد. این توصیه‌های عملی را برای طراحی، ارائه، ارزیابی و تامین منابع دوره‌ها ارائه می‌دهد و با یک دستور کار انعکاسی از مسائل آینده به پایان می‌رسد.
